Flowers (A Poem)

Flowers, colorful like a summers day

All worries and cares away.

Bright and beautiful

Like the radiance of the world.

The sun shines down on you

and sometimes rain will fall from the

clouds that gaze upon you.

Darkness forms a new light (A Poem)

Heavenly clouds gaze over
like the memories of
not long ago.
The darkness forms a new light.
Shooting stars fly from
the midnight sky.
An orange glow begins to appear
the sun will surround you.
Bring on the new day.
Forget the moments of yesterday
let a new day wash over you.

Dancing in the rain (updated)

Splashing in the puddles
we dance in the rain.
Jumping and laughing
it feels like we could
do this all day.

Dancing reminds us
of how happy life can be.
Flashes of lightning
glimmer from the sky
and we dance
we dance to forget.
To forget the pain as we
let the rain wash it away.

We splash
with flowers in our hair
a reminder of the
beauty that is held within us.
We dance.
